This web site (the "Site") is provided by Settlement and Integration Services Organization (SISO). Your use of the Site is conditioned by your acceptance of the terms and conditions of use (the "Terms and Conditions"). By accessing, using, and/or downloading information, data, text, messages, or other materials from this Site (the "Materials"), and by sending any information, data, text, messages, or other materials to the Site (the "Content"), you agree on your own behalf and on behalf of any entity on whose behalf you may act to accept and abide by the Terms and Conditions anytime you use this Site. These Terms and Conditions apply only to your access to and use of this Site and do not alter the terms or conditions of any other agreement you may have with SISO. In case of inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any other agreement you may have with SISO, the other agreement shall prevail, but only to the extent of the inconsistency.

SISO has the right to add, remove, modify or otherwise change any part of the Terms and Conditions, including the Privacy Policy, in whole or in part, at any time. Changes will be effective from the date when a Notice Change is posted on this Site or emailed to you. You are responsible to check the Terms and Conditions frequently for updates. SISO reserves the right in its sole discretion, to correct any errors or omissions in any portion of this Site at any time without notice.
4. Permitted and Prohibited Uses
The Site is dedicated to the lawful use of:
- Individuals born, trained and educated outside Canada, who are legally entitled to work in Canada and who seek employment and career information ("Job Seekers")
- Employers ("Employers") who are seeking to hire staff in the near future, or need to access information and resources pertaining to the recruitment, hiring and retention of Internationally-educated/trained professionals and tradespeople
- Recruitment companies ("Recruiters") seeking employees for jobs readily available
- Employment-Service Providers (“Service Providers”) providing free-of-charge employment services and assistance to Internationally-educated/trained professionals and tradespeople
By registering to use this Site, you agree to use the Site only to send Content and receive Materials that are proper and related to purpose of the Site.
Subject to these Terms and Conditions, SISO grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable and limited right to access, use and view this Site and the Materials contained here, solely for your own personal or internal company use, provided, that you may not, nor may you allow others to, directly or indirectly:
- Remove the copyright or other proprietary notices contained in the Materials
- Sell, reproduce, modify or attempt to modify the Materials in any way, or reproduce or publicly display, or distribute or otherwise use them for any public or commercial purpose
- Transfer the Materials to any other person
- Print or copy any of the software programs that are accessible at this Site
- Use this Site in any manner that could damage, disable or impair this Site
- Interfere with the security of this Site or otherwise abuse this Site or any services, systems, resources, accounts, servers or networks connected to or accessible through this Site

- Attempt to obtain unauthorized access to this Site or portions of this Site that are restricted

- Harvest or otherwise collect information about others, except for the sole stated purposes provided by this Site
- Post any material which does not belong to you
- Post any resume/disclose any personal information for which you do not have the express permission from the Job Seeker
- Post an expired job ad or an ad for a job that will not start within 2 months from the posting date
- Register an user if you do not have the express permission of the user to register
You may post certain Content to the Site. You may only post Content for the lawful, stated purposes of this Site. You agree that in posting Content, you will not, nor will you allow others to, directly or indirectly:
- Post any incomplete, false or inaccurate biographical information or information which is not accurate
- Post any franchise, pyramid scheme, multi-level marketing (MLM) opportunity, "club membership", distributorship or sales representative agency arrangement or other business opportunity which requires an up front or periodic payment, requires recruitment of other members, sub-distributors or sub-agents
- Delete or revise any material posted by any other person or entity
- Post or transmit any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, vulgar, obscene, or tortious or materials which infringe or violate any third party's copyright, trademark, trade secrets, privacy or other proprietary or property right or that could constitute a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable law
- Impersonate any person or entity, including and not limited a SISO employee or agent, an authorized user of SISO's Services, a Job Seeker, an Employer a Recruiter, or a Service Provider or otherwise misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity
- Post opinions, notices or advertisements, commercial or otherwise or solicit business from anyone who posts on the Site
In addition, you agree that you are solely responsible for actions and communications undertaken or transmitted in the course of your usage of this Site, and that you will comply with all laws that apply or may apply to your use of, or activities on this Site or in respect of the Content and Materials. SISO will investigate occurrences that may involve such violations and will solicit the cooperation of law enforcement authorities in prosecuting users who are involved in such violations.
SISO reserves the right at all times to disclose any Content provided by you as necessary to satisfy any law, regulation or governmental request, or to edit, refuse to post or remove any Content, in whole or in part, when SISO considers in its sole discretion that is objectionable or in violation of these Terms and Conditions.
5. Registration and Password
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your registration information and password. You shall be responsible for all uses of your registration, whether or not authorized by you. 9.2 Job Seekers
Your use of this Site is restricted to view the Links and Resource Page. To have your resume posted on this web site, you shall:
- Be registered with an Accredited Service Provider
- Be an internationally-educated professional or trained tradeperson or a person born outside Canada
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Give permission to the Accredited Service Provider to post your resume on this Site
9.3 Employment-Service Providers
To register with this Site and gain access to post resumes and view jobs you shall become an Accredited Service Provider. To become an Accredited Service Provider you shall:
- Prove that you provide employment-related services to immigrants/refuges legally entitled to work in Canada
- Provide the aforementioned services free of charge
- Attend SISO training regarding Skillsadvantage.com
- Sign the Service Provider Agreement
9.4 Recruiters
To register with this Site and gain access to post resumes and view jobs you shall become an Accredited Recruiter. To become an Accredited Recruiter you shall:
- Prove that you provide employment-related services to immigrants/refugees who are legally entitled to work in Canada
- Attend SISO training regarding Skillsadvantage.com
- Sign the Recruiter Agreement
