•  When you register with Skillsadvantage.com we ask for your name, your company name, address, email address and phone number. Once you register with Skillsadvantage.com and sign –up for our services, you are not anonymous to us. This information is collected in order for us to screen registration applications and to ensure that only legitimate applications are approved. You will notice that it will take about 24 hours for you to gain full access to the web site. This screening process helps us and the users of the service to maintain an acceptable level of service quality.
• Similar to other web sites, Skillsadvantage.com also receives and records information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, your browser and the page you requested.
• Skillsadvantage.com uses information for three general purposes: to fulfill your requests for certain services; to generate aggregated statistical reports; and to contact you about news and special events.

2. Job Seekers

Job Seekers cannot register directly with Skillsadvantage.com. To have your resume posted on this web site, you need to be registered with an employment service provider. (link to page where agencies are listed!)

When you register with a service provider, you need to consent for some of your personal information to be shared, according to that service provider policy.

We advise you that, when agreeing for your resume to be posted in the Skillsadvantage.com database, you inform your employment counselor of your preference to be contacted directly by employers or to be contacted indirectly, through your counselor. Please ask your employment counselor about their specific policies regarding this matter.

SISO and Skillsadvantage.com are not responsible for the manner of which the employment-service providers send or post your resume or your personal information in the Skillsadvantage.com database and web site. All we check for when approving a resume to “go live” is the quality of the resume and the extent to which the information included in the resume pertains to the job you are interested in.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

• Skillsadvantage.com will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone.
• Skillsadvantage.com will send personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people when: 
  - We need to share your information to provide the service you have requested;
